Maple Glazed Baked Pears

A simple, healthy dessert idea

Ingredients

  • 2 bosc pears
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Preparation

  • Slice pears in half and scoop out seeds
  • Whisk maple syrup & vanilla together
  • Drizzle pears with mixture
  • Fill scooped area with chopped walnuts
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon & nutmeg
  • Bake at 400F for 15-20 minutes
  • Serve immediately
